Depicts two characters spending time at the pool. While going through the artist's collection of characters, the color scheme for these two in particular struck me as complementary. With this work, there is a lighthearted air, meant to fit the laid back feeling of realaxing at a pool.
Process for this project included:
- Sketching variations in posing, opting for one that feels natural and does not obscure much of the characters.
- Studying character reference images to properly portray characters, wishing to stylize but stay true to what makes them recognizable.
